Val Sets New Orbital Records

Y1:D291 – Flying higher and staying longer than anyone so far, Valentina spent a record 6 orbits above Kerbin. While there she performed experiments, and even made the very first space walk leaving her capsule and taking observations over Kerbin.

In typical “Val Style” she opted to land next to the SPH rather then in the ocean as planned. Administrators are furious at the breach of safety protocols, but technically it wasn’t specifically prohibited (although we’re sure that will change).

The record-setting and record shattering flight is sure to not stand for long as we move ever forward in our exploration of space.
