Voyager V Heads to Duna

Y1:D257 – Following an uneventful launch, the sister probe of the ill fated Voyager IV, is on a course to Duna.

The probe is expected to relay new science to us once it reaches Duna, and will even have a close encounter with Ike.

Controllers plan to refine the probes trajectory, and hope to place it on a collision course with Duna’s moon in an exercise of precision interplanetary navigation.
